Track an anti-inflammatory diet and your hsCRP
Lower the inflammatory potential of your diet with oily fish, omega-3, olive oil, fiber and 30 plants a week, less processed meat and ultra-processed food, and follow your hsCRP alongside it.
The anti-inflammatory protocol scores your diet against its inflammatory potential: more oily fish, olive oil, fiber, vegetables, fruit and berries, more plant variety, and less processed meat and ultra-processed food. It suits people who want to eat to lower inflammation or who have a raised hsCRP result.
The targets
AumniVIDA scores these from your logged meals and measurements, and shows the evidence grade for each protocol.
Targets
- EPA + DHA: at least 0.5 g/day
- Fatty fish: at least 200 g/week
- Olive oil: at least 20 g/day
- Fiber: at least 12.5 g/1000 kcal
- Vegetables, fruit and berries: at least 500 g
- At least 30 plants a week
- Processed meat: at most 25 g/day
- Ultra-processed energy: at most 20 %
How AumniVIDA follows it with your data
- See what pulls the score up or down. The inflammatory dimension shows as a band with its top contributors, not a single verdict.
- Start with additions. The coach leads with foods to add, such as oily fish, legumes, berries, vegetables, olive oil and nuts.
- Connect food and hsCRP. When you have hsCRP results, see the food context before each one, presented as association, not proof.
- Track spices without overclaiming. Turmeric and ginger are tracked but carry no weight, because the evidence does not support a scored effect.

The evidence
The protocol cites a meta-analysis of the Dietary Inflammatory Index and cardiovascular risk (Nutrients, 2018) and a meta-analysis of marine omega-3 on CRP, IL-6 and TNF-alpha (PLoS ONE, 2014). No food cures inflammation or a condition.

Before you start
A raised hsCRP has many causes. Review it with your clinician. AumniVIDA explains your data for general wellness; diagnosis and treatment decisions stay with you and your clinician.
