- Protocols and skills. Settings, Guidance, Protocols & Skills lists the protocols you follow and a library to browse. Each one names its sources and who compiled it.
- Ranking. Drag your protocols into order. Where two protocols differ, the higher one leads.
- Engine overrides. A protocol can tune the thresholds the insight engine watches, such as how old a lab result can get before AumniVIDA flags it.
- Coach guidance. Your active protocols brief the coach, after your care team's directives and your own goals, and each answer shows the protocol it drew on.

Your care team's directives rank above every protocol. Safety thresholds, such as a blood pressure crisis, stay on whatever a protocol says.
