Your data is yours
Ownership is a property of where data lives and what you can do with it. Your graph lives on your iPhone, and export and deletion both work.
Most health apps say your data belongs to you. The test of that claim is simple: where does the data live, who holds the key, and what happens when you leave.
Where it lives
Your graph lives in an encrypted database on your iPhone. The iPhone's Keychain holds the key, and it never leaves the device. AumniVIDA keeps a copy on its servers, so your graph syncs between your devices, survives a lost phone, and supports the analyses you ask for. That copy exists for you.
What you can do with it
You can export your whole graph whenever you want, in a form you can open without us. You can delete your account, and deletion removes your records, documents, images and chats from our servers. Backups expire after a short retention window.
What we hold to
Your data is yours to share, and it stays out of the hands of insurers, employers and advertisers. Analyses run for your answers only, and AumniVIDA doesn't train models on your data. Only you and the people you invite read your records, and AumniVIDA scrubs personal information from server logs before writing them.
Each of these is easy to promise and costly to build, because each one closes a door that would otherwise be convenient. Closing them first is the point.
